OUR PASTOR

Bishop, Dr David W. Lewin is the founder and Pastor of Bethesda Apostolic Eagles International (formerly known as Bethel Apostolic Church -Luton) & the Bethesda District of associated churches which currently spans three counties in the United Kingdom, the USA, and associations in Africa. 

 Formerly a professional technological civil servant and commercial business manager, David was saved during the 1980s revival in the South West of England. His anointing spans the realms of being a visionary, evangelist, preacher, and teacher of the Word God.

David has earned degrees in Chaplaincy and Theology from St Mary’s University, based in Twickenham London. He has also earned Counselling qualifications in Psychodynamics and Psychotherapy from the Herts and Beds Pastoral Foundation and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Ministry by Excel University. He was also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor of Luton for his contribution to the community.

Currently, David serves on the Board of Bishops of Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic UK & Europe.  

The priorities in David’s life are God, his wife & family, God’s people, and the Church. Outside of his spiritual and ministerial duties, David’s passions are classical cars, DIY, and history.

Minister Pam is married to the founder of Bethesda Apostolic Eagles-International and serves as the Assistant Pastor. Being a wife, mother of two children, and the carer for two sibling foster children, her life is jam-packed and engaging, with little time to herself;  she likes to relax by reading, sewing, walking, learning to play the piano and more recently keeping fit with Aqua Aerobics, Pilates and Aerobics. 

 Now retired, historically, Pam worked full-time as a non-clinical NHS Senior Manager. She graduated with an MSc in Management degree and was an Associate Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development). She is an awesome teacher and preacher and speaks internationally .

Pam’s passion to use her life experiences and struggles to support women culminated in her founding the women’s ministry Ishah to Ishah (Women to Women) in 2017. Ishah to Ishah seeks to engage, encourage, and empower women of all generations and cultures. Its annual conferences, held around International Women’s Day, have all been successful in addressing the challenges women face in this modern, pressurised society through dynamic speakers, relatable personal testimonies, and a bespoke marriage retreat.

I am striving to be one of Jesus’ greatest Super fan. He gives me life and I owe everything to HIM.  He gives me peace and joy, even in the midst of trouble or sadness.  He’s amazing!!!

I have been a member of BAEI from before it began.  Currently I am a Trustee, Children’s Sunday School teacher and praise worshipper.

I strive to be excellent in all things I am able to do for him “…inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto me” Matt 25:30 NKJV
